Challenge
Challenge
A healthcare company was rebuilding its digital ecosystem across three connected experiences: a consumer flagship store, a dedicated experience for healthcare professionals, and an internal platform supporting their daily workflows.
The challenge was not simply redesigning interfaces. Each audience approached the same products and information differently. Consumers needed guidance and confidence before making a decision, while professionals needed speed, precision and efficient repeat workflows. My role was to turn this complexity into a coherent, scalable product experience.

My Approach
My Approach
I started by separating the ecosystem into distinct decision-making modes rather than forcing every user into the same journey.
For consumers, I focused on discovery: helping people understand their needs, explore scientific content and move naturally toward relevant products. For healthcare professionals, I prioritized action: finding products quickly, working with client context and completing recurring tasks with as little friction as possible.
I translated these behaviors into information architecture, core journeys, responsive interaction patterns and a shared design system, while continuously aligning design decisions with technical and business constraints.

Design Solution
Design Solution
01 Consumer Flagship Experience
I turned product discovery into a guided journey rather than a traditional catalogue experience.
Search, educational content, product information and guided discovery were designed to work together, helping users move from “What do I need?” to “What should I choose?” without losing the path to purchase.
02 Product Discovery & PDP
Health products require considerably more information than a conventional e-commerce purchase.
I separated deep product education from persistent purchase actions, allowing users to explore ingredients, usage and supporting information while keeping variants, pricing and the primary action continuously accessible.
03 Healthcare Professional Experience
The professional experience was designed around a fundamentally different behaviour: users already know what they are looking for and need to act quickly.
I increased information density, shortened navigation paths and designed workflows around repeated professional tasks rather than consumer-style exploration.
04 Professional Workspace
This is probably the most important piece of the entire case.
Research revealed that friction in the existing professional workflow was causing some practitioners to work around the platform entirely.
I redesigned the experience around the real sequence of their work — keeping client context, product search, selection, configuration and review within one continuous flow instead of forcing users through disconnected steps.
05 One Scalable System
Behind the three experiences, I built a shared responsive design language that could support both editorial consumer journeys and dense professional interfaces.
Components, interaction states, responsive behaviour and edge cases were defined systematically so the product could scale without every new feature becoming a new design problem.

Business Impact
Business Impact
The redesign established a scalable foundation for three connected digital products while making their individual experiences more focused.
Consumer journeys became centred around understanding and confident product discovery, while professional workflows were redesigned for faster repeat use. The resulting system brought complex commerce, scientific information and professional tools into one coherent product architecture ready for implementation.
→ 3 connected experiences
Consumer / HCP / Professional workspace
→ End-to-end ownership
Research / UX & UI / Design system / Handoff
→ Responsive product system
Consumer commerce + complex professional workflows
